Update on highrise project set for Sept. 4

BRAMPTON - Heart Lake residents are reminded of the all-candidates meeting and update on the highrise proposal that will be held at Loafer's Lake Recreation Centre Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.
Information on the highrise project, proposed for the corner of Sandalwood Parkway and Conestoga Drive, will be presented by the task force Citizens for Managed Development at Loafer's Lake.
It's the regular monthly meeting organized by the North-West Brampton Community Development Association.
The task force has spent the summer meeting with the developer, the city and others to gather as much up-to-date and detailed information as possible on the proposal to build six highrises in the area.
Also, provincial candidates for the ridings of Brampton-Springdale and Brampton West will present their platforms at the meeting.
