All of Brampton Invited to Provide Input Into City's Growth
March 31st, 2005
- City of Brampton
Brampton?s residents, special interest groups and business people are invited to a public information meeting on April 18 to voice their opinions about how Brampton grows in the future.
?I encourage everyone in Brampton to join City Council and the City?s Planning, Design and Development Department as we share information and listen to your thoughts,? said Brampton Mayor Susan Fennell. ?When good government and good citizens work together, good Cities become great.?
The public information meeting will focus on Brampton?s Official Plan Review, the City?s proposed cap on development, and its growth management program.
?All Council members have shown a strong interest in participating in the public process and opening the door to citizens? opinions,? said City Councillor Grant Gibson, Chair of the City?s Planning, Design and Development Committee. ?The City is consolidating two of its key planning committees?the Growth Management and Official Plan Review committees?to help make this program a success.?
