The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with over 1.6 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.
The Heart Lake Council was founded in 1985 through the efforts of the Knights and then Parish priest of St. Leonard's Parish. It is named after the Town of Heart Lake. The Heart Lake Council works closely with St. Leonard's and St. Anne's Parishes in Brampton, Ontario. We provide funding for various projects and members are active participants in their parish. We are actively involved in living out our ideals of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
